Canio Campaniello is an independent cybersecurity researcher, technical writer, and founder of Hackita.it, an Italian offensive security publication featuring more than 500 articles on ethical hacking and cybersecurity.

His work focuses on penetration testing techniques, web application security, vulnerability research, Active Directory security, and attack surface analysis. He develops his practical skills through independent research, hands-on security labs, bug bounty activities, and platforms such as Hack The Box.

Canio also contributes technical articles to cybersecurity publications, sharing practical insights into how vulnerabilities are discovered, understood, and mitigated.

He is currently preparing for the OffSec OSCE3 certification path, covering OSEP, OSWE, and OSED. His goal is to help readers better understand cybersecurity threats by examining how attacks work and how organizations can strengthen their defenses.
