Nico Dudli – Lecturer, Entrepreneur and Independent Technology Tester

I publish practical guides, documented product tests and expert contributions that make complex digital topics understandable and useful. My own work combines academic teaching, entrepreneurial experience and hands-on technology testing.

Nico Dudli
Nico Dudli is Head of Marketing and Digital Technologies and lead lecturer for the AI CAS programmes at BVS St. Gallen. His work focuses on the practical application of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and automation in business.
As lead lecturer, he teaches in programmes including the CAS Applied AI in Business, delivered in cooperation with the Hochschulinstitut Schaffhausen (HSSH). The programme focuses on applying AI to business processes, decision-making and strategy.
He also teaches at higher vocational and postgraduate level in areas including digital technologies, innovation, change management and digital HR, and supervises diploma theses.
Alongside his academic work, Nico runs Heyweb GmbH, a digital agency he co-founded in St. Gallen in 2022. He is also co-founder of flowork.ch, a recruiting platform for the Swiss care sector.
His academic and professional background includes a MAS in Business Process Engineering, a Diploma in Marketing Management HF, and certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I).
How TechNovice works
Most TechNovice articles are researched and written by me. Reviews and field-test articles explain which devices, locations, plans and testing methods were used.
Not every article is based on hands-on testing. Some comparison articles cover destinations I have not personally field-tested and instead use verified provider documentation, public checkout information, direct support inquiries and clearly identified third-party sources. The evidence basis and testing status are stated within the relevant article.
Guest contributions are written by external subject-matter experts and reviewed by TechNovice before publication. Guest authors are identified by name, professional affiliation and author profile.
Articles containing changing information, including prices, plans, product features and discount codes, are updated when relevant changes are identified. Where useful, I publish a last-checked or last-verified date.
eSIM Testing and Product Research
For hands-on eSIM reviews, I test services during real travel rather than relying only on product descriptions. Where I have not completed a field test, I clearly identify the article as a researched comparison based on verified provider information, checkout data, direct support inquiries and, where useful, clearly identified third-party sources.
