Nico Dudli – Lecturer, Entrepreneur and Independent Technology Tester
TechNovice is an independent technology publication focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and internationally tested eSIM services.
I publish practical guides, documented product tests and expert contributions that make complex digital topics understandable and useful. My own work combines academic teaching, entrepreneurial experience and hands-on technology testing.

Nico Dudli
Nico Dudli is Programme Lead for Digital Technologies and Marketing at BVS St. Gallen, a Swiss higher vocational school. In this role, he is responsible for curriculum development and the content direction of both study programmes, with a strong focus on the practical integration of artificial intelligence into marketing, human resources and digital business models.
He teaches at higher vocational and postgraduate level in business administration, digital HR, innovation, change management, business ethics and applied artificial intelligence. He also supervises diploma theses and teaches applied AI at HSO. He previously lectured at MBSZ Zürich.
Alongside his academic work, Nico runs Heyweb GmbH, a digital agency he co-founded in St. Gallen in 2022. He is also co-founder of flowork.ch, a recruiting platform for the Swiss care sector.

How TechNovice works
Most TechNovice articles are researched and written by me. Reviews and field-test articles explain which devices, locations, plans and testing methods were used.
Not every article is based on hands-on testing. Some comparison articles cover destinations I have not personally field-tested and instead use verified provider documentation, public checkout information, direct support inquiries and clearly identified third-party sources. The evidence basis and testing status are stated within the relevant article.
Guest contributions are written by external subject-matter experts and reviewed by TechNovice before publication. Guest authors are identified by name, professional affiliation and author profile.
Articles containing changing information, including prices, plans, product features and discount codes, are reviewed regularly. Where relevant, I publish a last-checked or last-verified date. Readers can report outdated information through the contact page.
Saily and eSIM Testing
For field-tested Saily reviews, I test the service in real travel situations rather than relying only on product descriptions. For destinations without a completed field test, I publish clearly labelled provider comparisons based on verified plan data, support inquiries and third-party evidence.
