AllPeers is an extension that (after being installed) allows Firefox users to share files no matter how big it is, through the p2p network, given that all parties has AllPeers installed. Personally i find that AllPeers is totally cool (excuse me for this, i am totally awed by AllPeers). Some of its features are as below (this features are only available between Firefox users who has installed AllPeers: Free As most of the things that i have written about in my blog, AllPeers is also free, which adds more points to it's appeal :-) Create Buddy list You can make a list of your buddies which has installed AllPeers, this makes it easier for you to share files with them. Other than that, you may also invite your friends to install AllPeers, so you may expand your buddy network :-) Chat Since you have buddies feature in AllPeers, it would also be cool if you could chat with them, and this is totally possible with AllPeers. You may chat using AllPeers while browsing or sharing the files, just like a normal Instant Messenger, really cool and genius. Share Files Well, this is the main feature of AllPeers, it is what that makes it cool and great. AllPeers allows Firefox users to share any type and any size of files that you want. You are also given the option to control which files can be shared with which buddy, really nice. Other than that, you may also share web pages, this really enhances the web surfing experience. Now not only could you visit cool websites, but also share them in real time, within the browser itself - while still browsing :-). Drag n Drop The AllPeers developers just know their thing - AllPeers supports drag and drop - wanna share something, just drag and drop it to the buddy or buddies that you wanna share it with - brilliant. There are plenty other features that are bundled in AllPeers (the biggest extension i ever seen, 4++ MB) - but above are the most outstanding once. Though AllPeers is still in beta stage, but it has a really promising future.
