Live Bookmark
For you folks that never knew about this, please get excited, because i am going to fill you in with it (wth, nothing is exciting about that). Short intro, Live Bookmark in Firefox lets you to bookmark the RSS, XML, or ATOM page so that you can get the latest updates from your favorite websites. But what is RSS, XMl, and ATOM, believe me, you don't want to get into that (well, maybe i don't know and trying to avoid explaining)
So, below are the examples of RSS, XML, and ATOM, if you see this in any website you visit, it is a good bet that the website offers you updates of its content. You wouldn't get the whole content, but only the headings, but that's good enough isn't it
Examples of Feed Images

Locating the Feed
This is fairly simple actually, when you visit a website, just look for the images above or similar. Well, you can start with this website, can you spot an image almost similar to the examples above ? you better find it, or i will curse you. You wont stop visiting my web forever.
A smart webmaster will locate the feed symbol at the right or left bar or below the page at the footer (that proofs me as one of the smart guys)
After you have found one, don't start clicking anything yet, there is another way that a website can offer Live Bookmark, try to look at the location bar, and see if there is an ATOM symbol, there should be one in for this web. See the example below.
Example of an ATOM image at Location Bar

How To Get Feed
Now we can go to the clicking part, we will first begin with the symbols, after you have found one, click on it, you will then be directed to a weird page, full of codes and stuff, just ignore the content, what's important is the location of the feed (just like normal bookmark). So select the whole address of the feed and copy it. Immediately after that, click on Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks on your toolbar.
Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks...

Bookmark Manager

Now, after the bookmark manager menu appears, click on File > Live Bookmark... . Another menu will appear, there will be three text area for you to fill in 'Name', 'Feed Location' and 'Description'. In the 'Name', give your feed a name, then in the 'Feed Location' area paste the feed address that you have copied, after that, if you want you can fill in some description too. Click 'ok' when you are done, and you are done.
File > New Live Bookmark

Menu

If you didn't find any RSS, XML, or ATOM symbol on the web page, but you do spot a ATOM symbol at the location bar, click once on it, if the website only offers one Feed, upon clicking, a menu will appear, giving you the option to change the name of the feed and the location the feed will appear.
Example Of The Menu

But if the web offers more than one feed, upon clicking on the ATOM symbol, a drop menu will appear, click on any one of it (it helps to read the 'title' of the feed first), and the same menu as above will appear, again just fill it in.
The Drop Menu Example
By default your Live Bookmark will appear in the regular bookmark area, just click on 'Bookmarks' on your toolbar to see it. In case you want to keep your Live Bookmarks all organized neat and nice, read my post on : Bookmarking In Firefox , the look for the heading 'Managing Your Bookmarks'.
